TRAVELING AROUND LAKE BAIKAL BY SPEED-BOATS

HISTORY OF OUR COMPANY

We have been working in touristic sphere since 2003.

Our company “Around the Baikal” had a thorny but bright path. It started in 2003 from the project called “Circum-Baikal Express”, which offers tourists to take a trip by the Circum-Baikal Railway.

After years of working our small company has changed its name and orienting points. It has grown to be one of the most powerful companies in the tourist industry of Irkutsk region and Republic of Buryatia. We continue to improve our methods of communication with clients, and we always are open for new lines of development. Everything we do is for bright future, when eco-tourism on the Baikal territory will be popular and widely accepted. Flora and fauna of Lake Baikal are unique and represented mostly by endemics. Therefore, they’re required careful attitude. So, we try to show all diversity of the Baikal without breaking its beauty, because we want to save this beauty for future generations.

Boat trips are great opportunity to see the most hard-to-reach parts of Lake Baikal. Even short excursions can impress you a lot and give a chance to have a ball with spectacular views of the Baikal nature. While travelling by speed-boats you can visit reserves, swim in thermal springs, and meet a Baikal seal in its natural habitat. Moreover, you can go fishing, photo hunting, and take an outdoor meal. Choosing one of our tours is the best way to spend gorgeous weekends or holidays. By our speed-boats you can visit almost any parts of the lake: cape “Ritiy” (“Borrowed Cape”), cape “Kotelnikovskiy” (“Kotelnikov Cape”), island “Yarki”, cove “Aaya”, bay “Chivyrkuisky”, and many others.
